Typical ebay ga-ga.

200+ ounces of coin.....silver content unkown unless you can track down info on all the dozens of different coins, when they were minted and what those governments were supposed to have put in them. Good luck.
Some might be 100%...some might be 20%....who knows.

Bigger value would probably be as collector items....but even then, since this a "retired coin dealer"....if there was anything of any real value, my guess it he would have sold it out separate rather than in a bag of junk.

So, my guess is like a lot of Ebay stuff, you're buying a pig in a poke.

He weighed on a postal scale, so the 203 ounces are avoirdupois, not troy ounces.

14.583 troy ounce = 16 avoirdupois ounce (1Pound)
Avoir Oz to Troy oz: X by .91146

203 avoir X .91146 = 185 troy ounces.

If I were to guess and say that the lot averaged 80% silver, then we would be down to 148 ounces.... and this auction is near that price now...

I won't be bidding on this one.
